When it comes to Speakers, we know speaker fees are a thing of integrity and ethics, and equally we understand there are times when someone is in grave need of events and opportunities.  I would propose there be a grouping of speakers that are signed on to be referred that are willing to work with an event planner's budget range.  

For example, if I sign on as a Speaker under the "SpeakerShare" umbrella, am I willing to do an event in April or September under my fee range?  Probably not.  However, in July when I don't even have a gig but may want/need one, if I were to receive an offer that is below my usual fee range, because I'm a "SpeakerShare" member, I would be willing to consider the lower offer to fill in my empty calendar as well as keep the goodness of the referral program moving.  

Does this work for anyone else?  I've done this for years in my entertainment and speaker friend referral pods and we know when our peers are in need, which months they are starving, and always have their backs with these gifts as gigs when needed.
