Add Powerful Promotional Material To Your Profile
PRESENTERS
Having a profile up in the eSpeakers Marketplace is a good way to get exposure to buyers. Having a powerfully selling profile in the eSpeakers Marketplace gives you a better chance of reeling in meeting planners looking for their next presenter.
Buyers want to see you in action and find out what others have said about you. Add streaming video and audio to your eSpeakers profile. Add recommendations from past clients. Upload book jackets and pdf one-sheets. Video is the number one thing that meeting planners look at after your name and profile photo. These materials dramatically raise your chances of getting a phone call from an interested buyer.
Enter the eSspeakers Profile & Marketing Area
- Log in at espeakers.com/login and choose MARKETING DASHBOARD from the main menu.
- From the Marketing Dashboard screen, choose VIDEO, FILES & RECOMMENDATIONS.
Add Video
- On the VIDEO, FILES & RECOMMENDATIONS screen, click the ADD VIDEO button.
- Use the CHOOSE FILE button to select a video file from your hard drive.
...OR use the COPY FROM LINK field to enter the full web address (URL) to a video file you have online. This may be a link to a file you have on your website, or it may be a YouTube or Vimeo page.
- Click CONTINUE
- Complete the fields to indicate the spoken language of the video, the clip's title, description, and bureau-friendliness (ie, whether it has contact information in it).
- Enter your initials in the 'one-time hosting fee' box to indicate you approve of the processing charge (the first clip is always no-charge). eSpeakers staff watch every single video posted to the system to check it for quality, appropriateness, and bureau-friendliness. This ensures high quality content for our partnering publishers who choose to include your profile on their site.
- Click the CONTINUE button to submit the video. If you are uploading a file from your hard drive, this may take a loooong time, even hours depending on the size of the file and your Internet connection speed.
- The video will appear in the list of videos once processing is complete, which may take up to two business days.
- Drag your primary video to the top of the list; this is the one that will be listed first and featured anywhere that only one video is shown (for instance, on your BureauBlast).
Tips
- You can have up to 30 minutes total video, split across as many clips as you'd like
- We recommend 3 to 5 clips of 3 to 5 minutes each. Don't post your whole presentation; buyers are looking for quick examples of your work.
- Don't include your name as part of the clip title; your name is always prominently displayed over the playing video.
- Increase the chances of your clips being shown on a bureau website: if you clip has no direct contact information (web site, phone number, etc), bureaus are much more likely to allow it to be displayed on their website. But if you do have contact information anywhere in the video, be sure to CHECK the box labeled NOT BUREAU-FRIENDLY.
