Adding LinkedIn Recommendations to your eSpeakers profile

Adding LinkedIn Recommendations to your eSpeakers profile

Recommendations are a valuable feature on your eSpeakers profile. Reading the positive things your customers have said about you gives your next customer the confidence to hire you. You can enter recommendations from any source to your eSpeakers profile, and eSpeakers can verify it with them. However, we treat recommendations on LinkedIn as "already verified" and will mark it that way without contacting the customer as we normally would.

Copy recommendations from LinkedIn and mark them verified

  1. Select any LinkedIn recommendations you would like to add to your eSpeakers profile. We recommend that your eSpeakers profile has a minimum of 5 verified recommendations, and a maximum of between 10 and 20 verified recommendations. However, you can add as many as you want to your profile.
  2. Add them to your eSpeakers profile by copying them from LinkedIn.
  3. Once you've added the recommendations, send an email to support  requesting us to mark them as verified. We treat recommendations from LinkedIn as verified without contacting the recommender as we normally do.
    1. Include your LinkedIn profile URL.  (example:  https://www.linkedin.com/in/pilotspeaker/)
    2. List the recommendations you want us to verify, making sure to include the name of the person  giving the recommendation.
    3. eSpeakers staff will verify up to 10 LinkedIn recommendations at no cost. If you have entered more than ten, and you would like to have them marked as verified, a fee of $5 USD per recommendation applies.
  4. Once your eSpeakers team is done marking the recommendations as verified, you'll receive an email to let you know the work is complete. It usually takes around 2-3 business days.
