Speaker Smart Trends

eSpeakers.com Smart Trends is a powerful tool that allows speakers, event planners, and others in the speaking industry to track and analyze industry trends in real-time. The tool uses advanced algorithms and data analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to the speaking industry. This information can then be used to make more informed decisions about speaking engagements, pricing, and other critical aspects of your speaking business.

In order to view Smart Trends, which use aggregated anonymized data across the industry, you must be willing to allow your own eSpeakers data to be anonymously included.  Make sure the checkbox for "MY DATA | Anonymous data opt-out" is UNchecked.

To view your Smart Trends

  1. Sign in to eSpeakers with your username and password.
  2. From the menu on left, click SMART TRENDS


The Trends

  1. YOUR TOPIC RANKINGS
    Your selected topics (up to six) are compared against industry averages. You'll see where your eSEO score ranks you compared to others in your same topic (smaller numbers are better). You'll also see the average fee for speakers with this topic, and how your fee compares to that.




  2. YOUR STAT BLOCKS
    This block of numbers shows useful information about different aspects of your speaking business. The PROFILE IMPRESSIONS & VIEWS shows how many times your photo, audience benefits statement, and possibly your entire profile have been seen in the last 12 months (bigger is better). DIRECTORIES LISTING YOU shows the number of website directories where your eSpeakers profile is included (bigger is better). DAYS SINCE PROFILE UPDATE shows how long it's been since you updated anything on your eSpeakers profile. If it's more than 90, you should freshen it up! (smaller is better) DAYS SINCE CALENDAR UPDATE shows long it's been since you made any updates to your EventCX calendar. Since this affects your eSEO score, it's important to update it regularly, at least every 60 days (smaller is better). SPEAKERTRACKS ACTIVE shows the number of people who are signed up (either by the guestbook plugin on your website, or because you uploaded them) to be notified when you travel to their area (bigger is better).

  3. FEE COMPARISON
    Compare your fee with the industry average. We see more speakers miss out by underpricing than by overpricing.




  4. ESEO SCORE
    Your eSEO score determines how high you rank in search results on eSpeakers-powered directories. Higher is better! When there are multiple search results at 100% (which is often the case) those 100% profiles are randomized so that they all get a chance at the very top.





  5. HIRING TRENDS
    Find out when events are happening and when they are getting booked with this calendar heat map. Darker squares have more activity.




  6. EVENT CITIES
    Want to know where speakers are headed? This list shows the most booked cities among eSpeakers users.
